Quick answer: Home Depot sells saunas online at homedepot.com and in select stores, led by Dundalk LeisureCraft cedar barrels and cabins — the same premium brand in our own Dundalk LeisureCraft review — plus budget Aleko kits and rotating white-label units, roughly $800-$6,500 across the range. It’s the only one of the four major retailers we’ve checked (alongside Costco, Walmart, and Sam’s Club) that carries zero overlap with Costco’s exclusive Almost Heaven and Dynamic brands, and it’s the only one offering 24-month financing through its store credit card. Returns should fall under the standard 90-day window rather than the 48-hour major-appliance rule, since Home Depot’s own appliance list doesn’t include saunas.

Home Depot is the fourth big-box or warehouse-club retailer we’ve checked for saunas, after Costco, Walmart, and Sam’s Club. Unlike the other three, its lineup leans on a brand this site has already reviewed in depth — Dundalk LeisureCraft — plus a genuinely useful perk none of the others offer: financing.

Sauna at Home Depot, by the numbers

  • $800-$6,500: the full range across homedepot.com’s sauna listings, from small infrared cabins up to large outdoor barrel and cabin units.
  • 20-60 SKUs: the typical selection size depending on season, smaller than Walmart’s dozens of listings but similar in scale to Costco and Sam’s Club.
  • 0 brands shared with Costco’s exclusive Almost Heaven/Dynamic lineup — Home Depot’s roster (Dundalk LeisureCraft, Aleko, white-label) doesn’t overlap with either.
  • 24 months: the financing term Home Depot offers through its consumer credit card and project-loan programs — a feature we found at none of the other three retailers in this series.

Affiliate note: homedepot.com blocked automated access during our research, the same pattern we found at walmart.com and samsclub.com — so pricing and selection figures below are aggregated from multiple independent secondary sources and cross-checked against our own already-verified Dundalk LeisureCraft dealer pricing, not pulled directly from a live homedepot.com listing. Treat exact current prices as a realistic band rather than a locked-in quote. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

What’s actually in Home Depot’s sauna lineup

Home Depot’s sauna selection is smaller and less exclusive-brand-driven than Costco’s, but more coherent than Walmart’s sprawling third-party catalog. Three tiers show up consistently:

TierBrand(s)Price RangeFormat
Small infrared cabinWhite-label/generic, some Aleko$800-$1,5001-2 person, indoor
Mid-size barrel/cabinDundalk LeisureCraft (entry SKUs), Aleko$1,500-$2,8002-3 person, outdoor
Full barrelDundalk LeisureCraft$2,800-$4,5003-4 person, outdoor
Large outdoor unitDundalk LeisureCraft, white-label$4,500-$6,5004-6 person, outdoor

Dundalk LeisureCraft is the brand worth paying attention to here. Our own Dundalk review found authorized-dealer pricing running $5,840-$10,620 across its full barrel, cabin, and indoor CT Element lines — well above Home Depot’s $6,500 ceiling. That strongly suggests Home Depot stocks only Dundalk’s lower-priced barrel and entry-cabin SKUs, not the full catalog (its Luna, Georgian-with-change-room, or CT Element indoor models likely aren’t available there at all). If you want the complete Dundalk lineup, an authorized dealer is still the place to check.

Dundalk LeisureCraft-Style Cedar Barrel Sauna

Why we like it: genuine Western red cedar construction from the brand Home Depot's own listings lean on most, worth comparing against Home Depot's price before buying either way.

The brands Home Depot skips entirely

This is the clearest way Home Depot’s lineup differs from the other three retailers in this series. Finnleo, Almost Heaven, Harvia, Helo, and Dynamic (Golden Designs) are all absent from Home Depot’s sauna selection, per our research. That means:

  • Zero overlap with Costco. Costco’s entire sauna lineup runs through Almost Heaven (traditional barrels) and Dynamic infrared cabins — see our Costco sauna guide — and neither shows up at Home Depot.
  • Partial overlap with Walmart. Aleko is the one brand Home Depot shares with another retailer in this series: it’s also sold through Walmart, per the multi-retailer distribution noted in our Aleko sauna review.
  • No overlap with Sam’s Club’s Maxxus/Backyard Discovery pairing — see our Sam’s Club sauna guide.

If a specific Finnish-heater brand like Harvia is what you’re after, or you want one of Costco’s exclusive Almost Heaven barrels, Home Depot’s lineup simply won’t have it — Dundalk LeisureCraft and Aleko are the names to know here instead.

Financing is the real differentiator

None of the other three retailers we’ve checked in this series — Costco, Walmart, or Sam’s Club — offer financing specifically applicable to a sauna purchase in our research. Home Depot does: its consumer credit card and project-loan programs support 24-month financing, a meaningful option on a $4,500+ full-size barrel unit where the difference between paying up front and spreading the cost over two years can decide whether the purchase happens at all. Terms and approval depend on Home Depot’s credit program specifics at checkout, so confirm the APR and monthly payment before committing — but the option existing at all sets Home Depot apart in this comparison.

Outdoor Sauna Thermometer & Hygrometer

Why we like it: whichever retailer you buy from, a dedicated gauge beats guessing at heat-up time and humidity — also useful for dialing in a new barrel or cabin unit once it's installed.

The return policy is clearer here than at Sam’s Club

Home Depot’s return policy defines its strict 48-hour major-appliance window narrowly: refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, and select microwaves — a fixed, published list, not a fuzzy “appliance” catch-all. A sauna isn’t on that list, so it should fall under Home Depot’s standard 90-day return window instead of the 48-hour one. That’s a more clearly resolvable answer than what we found at Sam’s Club, where the published policy genuinely doesn’t say whether a sauna counts as furniture (anytime returns) or a major appliance (90 days) — see our Sam’s Club sauna guide for that ambiguity. It’s still not as airtight as Costco’s explicit no-time-limit guarantee, and Home Depot’s own return-policy page doesn’t name saunas specifically either — but the category definition itself gives a much more confident answer than guessing.

When to skip Home Depot

  • You want one of Costco’s exclusive brands. Almost Heaven and Dynamic aren’t sold at Home Depot — go to Costco instead.
  • You want the widest possible selection to compare. Home Depot’s 20-60 SKUs are a fraction of Walmart’s catalog — see our Walmart sauna guide.
  • You want Dundalk’s full catalog. Home Depot likely only carries its entry-tier barrel and cabin SKUs, not the $8,000+ CT Element indoor line or the largest cabins — check an authorized Dundalk dealer for those.
  • You don’t need financing. If you’re paying cash either way, Home Depot’s main edge over the other three retailers disappears.

The bottom line

  • Best reason to buy at Home Depot: access to Dundalk LeisureCraft’s entry-tier cedar barrels at a lower price than Dundalk’s own authorized dealers, plus financing none of the other three retailers offer.
  • Best comparison move: if a Home Depot listing names a specific Dundalk model, check that model against our Dundalk LeisureCraft review pricing table before assuming Home Depot’s price is the full story.
  • Biggest catch: a narrower brand roster than any of the other three retailers — no Almost Heaven, Harvia, Helo, Finnleo, or Dynamic — and likely only Dundalk’s cheaper SKUs, not its full lineup.
  • Skip Home Depot when you want a specific brand it doesn’t carry, the widest possible selection, or you don’t need financing to make the purchase work.

Home Depot’s 24-month financing held up as the longest in this series until we checked Lowe’s — its Advantage Card runs 84 months on qualifying purchases, more than three times as long. Wayfair splits the difference with a genuinely interest-free 24-month 0% APR offer, shorter than Lowe’s term but without the 9.99% APR running the whole way through.

Whichever retailer you end up buying from, the sticker price is rarely the whole cost — a dedicated circuit, floor space, and realistic delivery timing all add up. Our home sauna cost guide breaks that down, and the best infrared sauna guide puts Home Depot’s brands next to the rest of the 2026 field.

Home Depot’s cold plunge lineup follows the same financing and 90-day-return pattern — see our Home Depot cold plunge guide for how ALEKO, Woodbridge, and Sierra Spas price out there.
